A Worldwide Womb Blessing of powerful change: 31st January

The first Worldwide Womb Blessing of the year is one of my favourites, because it holds the energy of change and transformation. There is a time to be still, and a time to dance. Now is the time that we take the first dance steps on a path of change.
In the northern hemisphere we have been lying under the snow in the dark heart of the labyrinth. We have been withdrawn, meditative, and hibernating with ‘old woman’ energies. Now we hear the first song of spring gently in the earth. Change is coming! Light is coming! The snow will melt, the first shoots will appear, the animals will wake. Life is going to be the rush of the in-coming tide, and we are gong to see the world again in light and clarity.
In the southern hemisphere we have been full in the abundance and laziness of summer. Now we feel the call to move. We feel the instinct start from the earth beneath our feet towards the steps that will take us eventually to the heart of the labyrinth. In the changing sunlight we feel the first touch of the magic of the autumn Enchantress, and we feel the excitement of being wild and free! Change is coming! Darkness is coming! The leaves will magically change, the berries will appear red and full, and the animals feel the call to migrate. Life is going to swirl in the gathering tides of darkness, and in that flow we will feel our magic and power.
Our wombs are connected to the energy of the earth we live on, so each Worldwide Womb Blessing is woven together with the energies of the archetypes. How exciting!
In the northern hemisphere, as well as awakening the aspects of our femininity we most need to heal and awaken, the Blessing will also enhance healing of our Maiden archetype. If we live in the southern hemisphere, it will enhance healing of our Enchantress archetype. And this is going to be very powerful because we are now in an Enchantress year.
