It is with deep regret that Anxiety UK announces the passing of our founder Harold Fisher who died peacefully on Thursday 27th October 2016.
Harold was a truly inspirational man who helped thousands of people through his selfless work with the ‘Phobics Society’, which later became ‘National Phobics Society’ – now known as Anxiety UK.
Harold’s funeral will take place on Tuesday the 8th November 2016 at 10.20 am at Peel Green Crematorium.
Harold’s family have asked for family flowers only and for donations in lieu in memory of Harold be made to Anxiety UK, all of which will be allocated to the Katharine and Harold Fisher Anxiety Research Fund – a fund that supports research into anxiety, stress and anxiety based depression.
We are determined to ensure that Harold’s name and the wonderful work that he founded, live on and to this end, we would be most grateful for your kind donation.
We’d love to raise £5000 which is the amount to operate one year of the Katharine & Harold Fisher Anxiety Research Fund.
You can make your donations online here or via JustGiving here
Cheques made payable to Anxiety UK can be posted to Anxiety UK Zion Centre 339 Stretford Road Hulme Manchester M15 4ZY.
Thank you for your support.
