It is with great sadness that we write to let you know that Professor Norman Booth passed away late last week.
Norman actively supported the Oxfordshire ME Group for Action (OMEGA) in the successful campaign to establish the community ME/CFS service in Oxfordshire and was a great advocate for patients over many years.
He was particularly involved with conducting and promoting biomedical research which is now going on in Oxford.
Many of you will have met him or heard him speak at various events and remember his warm and kindly manner. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
The funeral will be on Tuesday 21st August at 1.00pm at South Oxfordshire Crematorium OX13 5PA and afterwards at the Euston Arms in East Hendred. All are welcome to attend.
