Anxiety UK secure prestigious accreditation programme for psychological therapies services (APPTS)
Anxiety UK are delighted to announce that they have secured the prestigious Accreditation Programme for Psychological Therapies Services (APPTS) external accreditation. The APPTS accreditation recognises the hard work and commitment put in by Anxiety UK to deliver high standards of care to beneficiaries of Anxiety UK.
As the UK’s leading anxiety, stress and anxiety-based depression charity, Anxiety UK recognises the importance of not only internally reviewing our work, but also ensuring that our services are subject to external validation.
The APPTS accreditation is designed to identify and acknowledge psychological therapy services of high standards. Receiving such an accreditation, therefore, highlights the hard work and commitment by Anxiety UK to support beneficiaries of the charity.
Nicky Lidbetter, Chief Executive of Anxiety UK said: “We are delighted to have secured this important and much sought after accreditation in recognition of the high standards that we have in place in our psychological therapy services. This accreditation, along with that secured in respect of our helpline service provision, demonstrates our commitment to excellence across the charity.”
